Reiki is ideal for animals because it's gentle, non-invasive and doesn't require physical contact. It causes no stress, discomfort or pain. My own pets receive Reiki daily, and they love it! Animals instinctively know that they are receiving love, support and healing on all levels.
For animals who are healthy, Reiki helps to maintain their health, enhances relaxation and provides an emotional sense of peace and contentment. For animals who are ill, Reiki is a wonderful healing method as well as a safe complement to all other forms of healing.
For animals that are dying, Reiki is a gentle way to provide comfort, relief from pain, fear, anxiety, and ease their transition as they cross over to the Rainbow Bridge. Reiki is also a wonderful way to provide support and healing to a dying animal's family.
